Day 1: Overnight at Ai-Ais Rest camp: Sightseeing of the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world.
Day2: From the canyon to Konkiep Lapa 22km north of Bethanie.
Day 3: Along Route 826 to Duwiseb Castel 72 km from Maltahohe.
Day 4: To Sesriem in the Southern Namib.
Day 5: Visit Sossusvlei and return to Sesriem
Day 6: Travel to overnight at the Kuiseb River Canyon. Remember to refuel at the farm Solitaire.
Day 7: Travel through the Namib Naukluft Park to Walvis Bay. I recommend the Langstrand Caravan Park.
Day 8 +9: Rest, maintenance and visit local attractions in Walvis Bay and Swakopmund
Day 10: Travel to Usakos and overnight at Spitzkoppe 48km nw of Usakos.
Day 11: Spend the day in Omaruru for general sightseeing.
Day 12: Travel to Khorixas and make use of the Korixas rest camp.
Day 13+14: Visit Twyfelfontein, the petrified forest, burnt mountain and Welwitschia Mirabilis forest.
Day 15-18: Etosha. You have a choice of several rest camps in one of the best nature reserves in Africa
Day 19 : Visit Lake Guinas and Lake Otjikoto to overnight at Tsumeb
Please note that the road via Rundu through the Caprivi to Katima Mulilo is at present unsafe for travel due to armed conflict.
Day 20-24: Travel via Tsumkwe to visit the Khaudum/Koudum/Koudam/ National Park
Day 25: Back to Grootfontein and the camping sites near the Hoba Meteorite near Grootfontein.
Day 26 and 27: Travel to the Gross Barmen Hot Springs north of the capital Windhoek for a bit of luxury
Day 28-29: Visit the historic sites in and around the capital Windhoek while waiting for your flight to South Africa or Victoria Falls
